So I am stuck with hqp-control.exe 3.20.2 because I am still using Windows 7 and this is the only compatible version. To be short: I can not use the new version (3.25.3) of the software ( HQPlayer-desktop.exe ) and the old version ( 3.20.2 ) does not work with Windows 7 anymore.
I have to say, that it was a very good idea of DAP to update their software periodically. I can run the software now for hours on my 4k TV without any problems.
The only disadvantage is, that the new software is not compatible with Windows 10 ( I tried from a Windows 10 VM ). So I can not use the new HQPlayer Desktop anymore on my Windows 10 PC and I have to use the old version ( HQP-control (3.20.2) ) anyway.
I am very happy to see that the software is updated and now on Windows 10 everything works ( with HQP-control (3.20.2) ).
I have a minidac that only works with custom dlls. The dll that I have is named dac_usb.dll, but I don't see it in the HQPlayer folder anywhere. I don't want to have to change the internal audio configuration to use a dll that I have to find.
