Gordian Quest

We've just released a major update to Gordian Quest, which is now available on BlackBerry World. This update includes a small fix to improve compatibility on Android devices, a few tweaks to the controls, a handful of new features, and new items!
The character development and loot system is great. Players start with a set of skills and a few items. As they kill monsters and go on quests, they level up, adding new skills and equipment to the mix. I really enjoyed seeing how my characters developed as I went through the game. I had characters in my party who could take on a 20-man dungeon and all-comers PvP fights with ease, but the same characters were barely better than a newbie when it came to PvP battles. (Who knew my barbarian was so bad at PvP?)
I've been told that just because I like playing roguelikes, that doesn't mean I like the genre. I have no idea if that is true or not, but it doesn't matter. If you like rogue-likes, I am sure you will find something to like about Gordian Quest.
The development staff is actively working on improvements to Gordian Quest. In the next version, they plan to address the problems with acting as a solo game and the fact it can be repetitive, which is a big issue.
Overall, Gordian Quest is a great casual roguelike for anyone who's looking for a simple yet fun RPG experience. If you play a lot of D&D, it might not be the best choice. But if you're looking to pass a few hours with your friends, it's a great game.
We enjoy indie games that try something different. They can challenge you to learn a new skill or teach you something new about a genre. They can be a lot of fun, too. And we can’t tell you how excited we are for the release of Gordian Quest on July 2nd. We’ll see you then. 827ec27edc
